Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences; or Social Work and Social Administration; or Development Studies; or Public Administration and Management; or Business Administration (Management option); or Arts; or Law from a recognized University / Institution. Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Protection; or Social Development; or Social Justice will be an added advantage

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years relevant working in programme planning, implementation and management/administration in Government or a reputable organization.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Programme Manager for performing the following duties:-

1. Designing and implementing strategies for achieving the development objectives of the National Youth Council;
2. Developing and implementing training programmes for the Youth Council;
3. Developing activity work plans and budgets for the programmes of the Youth Council;
4. Providing technical support and guidance to the National Youth Council;
5. Preparing and reviewing project proposals to support implementation of the Council’s programmes and activities;
6. Carrying out needs assessment for the National Youth Council and communicating them to the relevant stakeholders;
7. Planning and carrying out capacity building for Districts and lower Local Government Youth Councils;
8. Monitoring and evaluating implementation of the Council’s programmes and activities;
9. Managing performance of staff;
10. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
