JOB DETAILS:

The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of Water and Energy solutions in the region supplying products in various segments including water pumps, borehole service, solar, swimming pools, irrigation, water treatment, waste water treatment, water lab equipment and industrial chemicals. The group operates through a network of Ugandan branches namely Kampala, Mbarara, Jinja, Gulu, Arua and Mbale. The company has a total complement of over 70 highly trained and professional staff spread across the country. We are looking for qualified, experienced, and talented Sales Engineers to the following position.

The main roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Selling of water and power related equipment and services.
2. Attending to customer inquiries, carrying out site visits and making proposals.
3. Customer development and retention.
4. Business development: Look for business opportunities to increase revenue and maintaining a positive annual growth.
5. Research & analysis of market conditions & opportunities.
6. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
7. Preparing Weekly and Monthly sales reports.
8. Any other task deemed necessary to accomplish the above.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
1. Graduate Engineer in any engineering discipline from a recognized University, with a minimum of Upper Second Honors degree.
2. At least 2 years' relevant technical sales experience in the water and energy sector and below 35 years of age.
3. Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite.
4. Excellent written and spoken English, good interpersonal, presentation and commercial skills.
5. Self-motivated, disciplined and ability to work under minimum supervision.
6. Project management, field service, equipment maintenance and Industrial experience, a valid driving license and having AutoCAD skills is an added advantage.
