On behalf of our client Mota-Engil Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Senior Concrete Batch Plant Superintendent to work in Uganda.
Position: Senior Concrete Batch Plant Superintendent.
Department: Production.

Job summary:
The Senior Concrete Batch Plant Superintendent will be responsible for supervision of batching plant activities.

Key roles and responsibilities.
• Directly supervise and coordinate batch plant activities of the concrete batching system including raw material storage, chiller plant and concrete mixing.
• Train batch plant team.
• Ensure quality of concrete and fulfilment of all required standards and requirements.
• Provide preventive and routine maintenance to all equipment under the batching system.
• Control the batching plant through the batching software, in accordance with a specification to meet quality standards.
• Manage stock by ordering cement and aggregates.
• Carry out daily autonomous maintenance on the batching plant.
• Manage material samples.

Qualifications, Skills, and Education required.
• Higher national diploma in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or certificate/training in a related field.
• 20 years of proven work experience in concrete production and batching plant operations.
• High knowledge and understanding of concrete aspects and specifications.
• Proven ability in operating batching plant equipment.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent communication skills

Experience in Months: 240

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
