Job details: We are seeking suitable candidates to fill the following positions:-
JOB TITLE: Statistician
Reports To: Human Resources Manager and Chief Operations Officer
Job Summary:
Collect, analyze, interprete and present company data in easily understood formats and reports for management actions.
Specific tasks:
- Determine what type of data to collect in order to answer specific questions or problems and draw to the attention of management any statistical findings of relevance.
- Support departments with statistical analysis and trends in specific areas of business results such as equipment breakdown and serviceability analysis, fuel consumption, staff turnover, staff demographics, annual leave utilization etc.
- Produce operator/airline on-time departure and delays report for input into Quality management system and client satisfaction interventions.
- Support departments in the management of staff productivity by managing the Time and Attendance system, ensuring monthly work schedules for all staff are updated in the system, analyzing optimization of manpower, tracking attendance through the anomaly report.
- Analyze productivity trends and draw to the attention of HR any issues for further management
- Manage Biometric meals system, generate reports on meals consumption across the different canteens and send reports to service providers.
Bachelor's degree in Business Statistics or related field.
At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Business Statistics. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; good analytic skills, Creative, Conversant with computer applications Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Access, SPSS and Epi-Info.
