JOB DETAILS:
The Technical Services Trainee programme is a structured 18-month programme which is designed to address the acquisition of technical skills and experience for graduates as well as familiarize them with the company culture and principles. The rigour of the programme ensures that an individual that has completed the programme can be allocated an area of responsibility immediately.

Key outputs and responsibilities:
• Gain a full understanding of the theory, principles and the Engineering and Maintenance processes.
• Apply VPO principles
• Participate in the team structures including acting roles in identified positions, i.e. within Maintenance, Planning Systems
• Complete and be competent in Generic Modules within VPO, Engineering Safety, Safety & Environment, Better world initiatives
• Complete identified Projects within the Engineering and Maintenance Training Programme
• Participate in projects in the Plant environment aligned to the program requirements and brewery priorities
• Diagnose systemic and situational problems and troubleshooting
• Communicate learnings and solutions across various levels of the business.
• Ensure safety, healthy & environmental legislation compliance
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Ensure application documented standards
• Develop and update engineering standards through ZBS Maintenance
• Optimize use of planned maintenance system
• Apply formal failure analysis process
• Apply relevant engineering spares strategy
• Implement VPO and Associated GOP’s
• Manage progress according to glide paths set and agreed
• Lubrication standard on site
• ATO implementation
• Condition Monitoring
• Upgrades to CMMS
• Support ZBB Maintenance and CAPEX budgeting process.
• Review financial results
• Identify consumption initiative savings

Education
• Bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive and power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
