JOB DETAILS:
Transport Safety Advisor

Roles and Responsibilities
• Directing the transportation safety management process and providing overall support and guidance to the regional, area and local transportation operations organizations.
• Oversight and assurance to implementation and maintenance of the Project H3SE Management Program.
• Oversee driver training as well as recommend retraining and discipline.
• Administer driver compliance processes.
• Provide direction and guidance to drivers and other logistics employees.
• Investigate incidents for instance accidents and injuries.
• Provide training and oversight to drivers and attendants regarding passenger management.
• Perform driver road checks to determine performance issues.
• Create, deliver, and track drivers’ training programs
• Investigate collisions, injuries, near-misses, and non-conformance.
• Monitor and maintain accident registers and keep them updated.
• Interact with safety staff members to ensure conformance to best practices and regulatory updates.
• Qualifications and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline/Logistics
• Technical qualification in QHSSE management
• 7 years’ experience in logistics and transportation management in a bust energy, construction, and manufacturing industry out of which 3 years in safety management experience
• Working knowledge of federal and state safety laws
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely using appropriate mediums (for example, face-to-face,
• Intermediate knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Analysis and identification of risk trends, problems, and solutions.
• Understand and apply meaningful operations and safety performance metrics.
