TOTALENERGIES EP UGANDA NURSING AND MIDWIFERY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

TotalEnergies EP Uganda is pleased to announce a one-off Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship Programme for 100 eligible candidates from Buliisa, Nwoya, Pakwach, Masindi, Hoima, and Kikuube Districts. The scholarship programme is aimed at giving an opportunity to youth to attain quality education and pursue careers in Nursing and Midwifery.

Selected candidates will be enrolled for a 2.6-year programme at St. Mary’s Lacor School of Nursing and Midwifery in Gulu District or Hoima School of Nursing and Midwifery in Hoima District. As part of the scholarship, TotalEnergies EP Uganda will provide for the tuition, scholastic materials, pocket money, medical insurance and transport requirements for all selected candidates.

Eligibility

• Ugandan citizens born in the districts of Buliisa, Nwoya, Hoima, Kikuube, Masindi, and Pakwach.
• Candidates aged 18 and above.
• Must have completed O’ Level secondary school education not more than 2 years ago.
• Able to speak, read and write English.
• Priority will be given to students who completed secondary school education in Buliisa, Nwoya, Hoima, Kikuube, Masindi, and Pakwach Districts.
• Female candidates and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
• The level of vulnerability will be verified.

Application Requirements

• Handwritten application letter.
• Birth certificate and identification cards (national/former school IDs).
• Copies of UCE certificate/pass slip with minimum passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Recommendation letters from former secondary school, LC 1 Chairperson, District Education Office.

Selection Process

• A selection committee to review all application forms and shortlist candidates.
• Shortlisted candidates to be vetted by TEP Uganda and District Education Offices.
• Shortlisted candidates to undertake interviews at the selected education institutions.
• Successful candidates to receive admission letters from selected education institutions.

Application Deadline

Friday, February 7th, 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Note:

• Applicants are required to pick, fill and return complete application forms with supporting documents to their respective District Education Offices. Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
• Applicants must register when picking and returning application forms to the District Education Offices.
