JOB DETAILS:
UGAFODE Microfinance Limited (MDI) is seeking a qualified and experienced Principal Officer to manage and lead all aspects of its bancassurance business. The role will involve overseeing the strategic direction of bancassurance operations, ensuring the growth and profitability of the business, and building and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters. The selected candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, ensuring revenue assurance, and ensuring that the bancassurance operation aligns with the annual operating plan.
The Principal Officer will have a broad range of responsibilities, including:
• Managing Underwriter Relationships: Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with insurance providers to ensure smooth collaboration, mutual growth, and effective product offerings.
• Business Growth: Identifying opportunities for expanding bancassurance services, increasing market penetration, and ensuring the growth of sales and revenue in line with company goals.
• Revenue Assurance: Overseeing the financial aspects of bancassurance, ensuring the accurate tracking of revenue streams, monitoring costs, and ensuring profitability targets are met.
• Strategic Planning: Leading the development of strategies that align with the overall business goals of UGAFODE Microfinance and implementing initiatives that drive the success of bancassurance operations.
• Profitability Assurance: Managing operations in a manner that optimizes profitability while ensuring a sustainable and growing revenue model.
