As part of our team, you will provide peace of mind to clients by using your skills and experience to give companies, investors, and regulators confidence in the validity of financial statements and business-critical information or processes.

Join our Assurance team and you will help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing an objective and independent examination of their financial statements, timely and constructive discussion with management on accounting and reporting matters, and a robust and clear perspective to audit committees.

Your key responsibilities
• Manage engagements which includes defining and executing the audit strategy in consultation with the senior members of the team and in accordance with Ernst & Young's Global Audit Methodology and policies
• Execute complex audit procedures, anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues, as appropriate
• Lead teams
• Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships
• Ensure that work delivered to clients is of high quality
• Create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel junior team members and support them in their personal and professional development

To qualify for the role you must have
• University degree of at least 2nd upper class
• CPA/ACA/CA/ACCA or an equivalent international qualification
• At least 4 years of audit experience with at least 1 year at manager level
• Significant experience leading, planning, execution and reporting on audits
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
• Thorough knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards
• Knowledge of quality and risk management
• Understanding of laws and regulations relevant to assurance service
